My name is Peter McCarthy. In 2019 my family moved from northern NY to find a local church. We landed at King’s Cross Church in Greensboro, NC and have been enjoying the fruit of putting our roots down here.

I am originally from Fayetteville, NC. After college, I moved to the DC area to help plant the Transit Church with Jeff Toomer. My wife and I met through a discipleship program that would visit DC from northern NY every year. We hit it off and I moved to NY to marry her.

I am on a life pursuit of laying hold of the One who laid hold of me. In fact, I believe that He chose me in Christ before the foundation of the world, and Has been demonstrating His grace to me since then. He is the joy set before me, and He is worthy of pursuit through every hardship in life.

I have 3 daughters; Aubriella Marie (4), Evangeline Ruth (1), Grace Noelle (younger than 1).
